Ecolab’s ERGs are embedded in the business, contributing to innovation, talent development and community engagement. Highlights from 2024 include:

  • Inclusive product development: ERGs partnered with Research, Development & Engineering to ensure new products—such as hands-free dispensers—are inclusive for all skin tones and types.
  • Leadership development: The E3 ERG’s Leadership Development Exchange program led to higher promotion rates and increased retention among participants, helping build a stronger, more resilient workforce.
  • Cultural education: The HACER ERG launched “Hispanic and Latinos in the Workplace,” a learning module available to associates, rated 5 out of 5 stars. The program supports cultural awareness and strengthens trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Expanding inclusion: ERG Fairs hosted in Supply Chain facilities resulted in a 69 percent increase in ERG enrollments from this group, helping connect associates to enterprise initiatives and leadership networks.
  • Community impact: ERGs raised nearly $12,000 for organizations supporting underrepresented groups and contributed more than 4,100 volunteer hours.
  • Recognition and collaboration: Ecolab hosted the Strategic ERG Leadership Summit, bringing together leaders from more than 50 companies to share best practices and celebrate inclusive leadership.
